A selection of silly laws from around the world.

In China you must be intelligent to go to college or university.
In Finland if a couple wish to marry they may do so, but only if they can read.
In France it is illegal to land a flying saucer in a vineyard.
In Saudi Arabia a woman can divorce her husband if he fails to keep her supplied with coffee.
In Sweden it is illegal to train a seal to balance a ball on its nose.
In San Salvador drunk drivers can be executed by firing squad.
In Peru single young men are not allowed to keep female alpacas in their apartments.
In Paraguay duelling is still legal provided that both participants are blood donors.
In Madagascar it is illegal for women who are pregnant to wear hats.
And in Japan it is illegal to wear the colour purple, unless you are in mourning

number 3 is not so stupid. The anti-gravity generators make the grapes taste funny.
