Bird-Brained Behavior
Is it just me or have birds been acting a little unusual?
Birds! Birds! More and more birds! Are they having mental issues? Is it just me, or are more and more birds trying to get run over? They wait until the last second to fly away, have been chasing other animals, and are making unusual flight patterns.
Lately in my neighborhood the birds have been committing what seems like near suicide, then wimping out of it. Has this been made clear to anyone else? I live in Memphis, Tennessee, and they are ‘bombing’ everyone! Is this unusual behavior, or is it just a human-bird war that is going on??
Last weekend at the park, there were some crows that seemed to be attacking people. Either they are crazy, or they have evolved into recognizing people, and seeing them as a threat. Are they attacking them because they are regulars in the area? It is only the people that I see there every day, so this must be an issue! We need to get some scientists on this pronto, because is it possible that they have a broad memory? It is also a possibility that it is pure instinct, and are just fending off potential predators from it’s newborn for the mating season.
What ever the case may be, I hope that it is not a serious case. They are attacking my dog in the back yard, and need help. Is there anything that I could do to fend them off? Please comment!
