Some weird and wonderful natural beauties.

The Angler Fish and Fangtooth

These toothsome lovelies are the Anglerfish that uses a protruding appendage to attract and lure its prey and the Fangtooth with its amazing out sized teeth, both fish are normally found in very deep water.

The Warthog

A native of Africa the Warthog is a member of the pig family, although preyed upon by the large African predators, with its large tusks the warthog is well capable of defending itself, in fact even lions have been known to die from wounds inflicted by a warthog.

The Star Nosed Mole

This little chap is the Star Nosed Mole of North America, it has incredibly sensitive nasal receptors (known as Eimers Organs) which help it to hunt out its prey worms, insects and crustaceans.

Parasite

This tongue eating parasite was found in the mouth of a weaver fish.

The Mata Mata Turtle

Looking like a piece of wood bark the strange Mata Mata turtle of South America.
