The Big Bad Bug, otherwise known as swine flu is out to get us. In fact there are a lot of bugs out to get us. If you think about it humans have always had some kind of bug that has wanted to get us. I mean what did we do to deserve this?

I had a computer virus on my computer. I didn’t say to a computer hacker please make a virus that will slow down my computer and then cripple it. And yet that is what computer hackers do.

But at least there is some consistency here. We know that somewhere a computer hacker is programming a computer virus to cripple a computer and steal data. If not that they are at least helping computer security companies sell more computer virus protection software because people want their computers to be safe.

So you have to wonder if computer hackers create computer viruses where do real medical viruses come from? Can you honestly see God sitting there programming a virus to kill humans? I can’t. I am sorry God may be many things but I just can’t believe he would want to directly kill you. Why then even create you?

So if God is not creating viruses to kill people where do these viruses come from? Well I know some are created by man for wars, others just develop on their own. If you had pig fecal matter, and dirt, and water, and heat just sitting somewhere after some time your going to end up with some kind of heavy duty illness waste.

But you can’t blame the farmer he is just raising pigs for human consumption. What I believe is that no matter what you’re going to have viruses. It’s just how nature works.

I believe illnesses are around to remind us that we are just mortals here on Earth and that we should be lucky to live in the time we do and with the people we do. Think, every time you get sick you wish you were better and had never gotten sick.

Well then maybe the reason illness are around is to just remind us that we should just be nice and carrying to other people when they are sick and try and get them well fast. With that then I could believe that illnesses serve a purpose, to make us humble.
