I know that every time you watch a Star Wars movie, you are just sitting there thinking, “Man I wish I could do that!”  Well, here is the hard truth, you just can’t!  Imagine for a second that you are sitting on the couch, and the remote for the t.v. is sitting on the table just out of your grasp.  You reach and reach, but you find no victory on your quest.  Finally, you stand up and grab the remote before sitting back down on the couch.  When you sit down, you think to yourself, “Phew, that was quite a workout!”  On the other-hand, in the world of Star Wars, all you would have had to done was use the force.

In my opinion, the force would probably be the downfall of humanity!  Think about it, if all you had to do was use the force all the time, we would all probably be stupid, fat puffballs!  Many people would also lose their jobs.  Take for instance, construction workers.  They use large bulldozers and cranes to move obstacles out of the way.  If they could use the force, there would be no need for the bulldozers or the cranes, so the people who build them would be out of a job. 

Using the force would be the downfall of mankind for many reasons, here are a few:

• We would turn into fat useless slobs
• Wars would be even more deadly
• The lightsaber would be invented, causing unimaginable horror
• We would take over other planets
• Jabba the Hut would exist
• After a time, someone like Luke Skywalker would be born (probably a nerd)
• Darth Vader would try to create a Death Star ( probably rename it the Doom Star for copyright purposes)

Of course these are just a few of the horrors that would result if we humans would learn to use the force just like the people from Star Wars.  Good thing this isn’t going to happen anytime soon (unless people want to be under the rule of Jabba the Hut anytime soon).
