Laughter is Still Good Medicine

Worried about 2012, the economic situation, H1N1 and the Flu in general? Take a break and have a laugh instead. It is probably the best medicine around.

Reverse Typist

Is she really that clueless or is this Photoshopped and FAIL? Notice the keyboard, -it is upside down in perspective to the typist and it is not ‘just the pixels’ that are not right. She looks as if she’s really happy with how it working out. Clueless. Or just ’shopped that way? The wireless mouse doesn’t look right either.

A Prank Perpetrated

The poster of the marine is covering the part of the word “sub” which of course, changes the meaning of the question. I’m fairly certain that this was a pranked billboard.

And Keeping with That Thought, A Phallic Parsnip

I don’t even have words for this bizarre-looking parsnip. Vegetables do sometimes grow in unusual and suggestive shapes but none moreso than this one. Eww!

A Misfortune Cookie?

How’s that for fortune? I believe that the author of this image cites that this cookie was received at the banquet of a wedding reception. What a nice time to find this out.

This Just Isn’t Right

Some strange names are to be found on products sold in foreign markets. What is that nasty swollen diseased corn called? Have you ever seen a can of this? Black, shiny swollen corn kernels that are some sort of ingredient for Mexican food maybe? But as for this sponge pudding dessert called Spotted Dick, none for me thanks. For custard you have to stroke the can maybe and again, I’ll pass on dessert thanks.

What are These Supposed to be?

You know what these look like, don’t you? Yech. These don’t even look completely filled, -or fresh. Seriously, the Japanese must go out of their way to put things in their markets to weird us out.

Unholy Mackerel!

They’re really not all bad; they’re just canned that way. Canned mackerel from Indonesia, says one of the viewers of this image. They are not devil fish despite having the sign of the beast. It’s just mackerel.

These Canned Fish Aren’t Evil. Some are even OKAY

There is an entire line of this product apparently. Hmm.

In Time for Halloween, But it was a No-Show…

I have seen similar handbills and posters around the city. So far, all have been wrong about the date. I imagine that 2012 will be another bust. I’m still embarrassed that except for a few internet servers displaying the wrong date for a few days after January 1, 2000 that Y2K turned out to be a fizzle. Nowadays I only look forward to the next weekend, the next holiday. And speaking of holidays…

Have a Cheeky Halloween
