Chinese Air Force Drinking and Flying

Apparently, Chinese Air Force personnel have been drinking, now officials have passed a law stopping them from doing so.

Chinese Air Force officers and soldiers have been drinking at lunch-time at work. Now however, they will not be able to due to new laws being implemented by Chinese officials.
This follows a recent ban of alcohol at lunch for Chinese Communist party officials and civil servants. China says that officers caught drinking will face demotion or suspension, while soldiers will receive demerit points. Digital Breathalyzers are to be installed at checkpoints are a precaution.

“The move is to create a more disciplined force with a good image,” says a Chinese official. It’s strange to think that they were allowed to drink before this at work, it’s much too early to start drinking and that they drinking may have been causing some performance issues.
