The saying “like father like son” should also apply to “like teacher like pupil.” See grammar in action when you read this!

Scene I

Teacher: Please can you give me a word that begins with letters A, B, C and D.

Pupil: Hay, bee, see and…

Teacher: I didn’t say mimic me; now give me a word that begins with L.

Pupil: Hell…

Teacher: I can see you can’t answer simple question. I’ll see how you’ll pass your test tomorrow.

Scene II

Pupil: Auntie James is commotin himself from the window

Teacher: Oh, I’m disappointed in you. You that I expected to “spoke” a “gooder” English!

Scene III

Parent: So why did you flog this small boy because he could not spell “man”? Don’t you know that “man” is too big for him to spell? Why did you not tell him to spell “mosquito” that is small and see if he won’t get it right!

Teacher: You are his real father, I can see!

I like it, i think teachers should come down a little bite to explain to pupils the different pronoucuation and their spellings so that one don’t get confused.
