Eight Ways to Make Your Trip to the Supermarket More Entertaining
Bored of mundane shopping trips? These should make it a bit more fun…
- Loudly hum the theme tune to mission impossible while acting suspicious, hiding behind the tinned goods
- When you get to the checkout ask to see the checkout operators credentials before you let her handle your food
- When browsing the kitchen knives section of the store loudly ask a customer service rep if they know where the anti-depressants are kept
- Pick up random items from the store and drop them into other people’s trolleys/baskets – without them noticing
- Wear a fancy dress costume and act your shopping trip out in character
- Create your own version of supermarket sweep, and try to beat your best time every week
- (This ones tricky) Learn how to mimic the sound of the scanner when at the till, so the checkout operator thinks she’s been scanning items twice (Hours of fun when done correctly)
- This one can be done anywhere – not just after a shopping trip (but only really works if you’re a bloke). If you need to get a taxi home, go to the front of the waiting taxi queue and ask the driver if he will take you home but instead of payment you will do any sexual favor he requests. (Hopefully) He will say no. Continue to do this all the way down the taxi line until you get to the last one in the queue. Act normal with the last driver and ask for a lift home, get in and as your driving past the waiting taxis put your thumbs up with a big grin on your face……….
