Giggles, Grins, and Always Fun for the Day
Everyone needs a laugh now and then. Why not now?
It has occured to me that there are many funny things and sayings in the world. Comedians point them out all the time, as you know.
The trick to life is finding something funny every day. For instance, while camping this past weekend we enjoyed watching fishermen on the other side of the river from our campsite. Especially when one of them caught a fish, had the line break just as the fish was in his lap, then he proceeded to try to grab the flopping fish from the rocks while almost falling in the water! Quite entertaining I must say!
Seen on a t-shirt: I know it’s quiet out here. I can hear the fish laughing.
Seen on a doormat: Home is a wonderful place. So why don’t you go there.
My dogs bring constant smiles and giggles to our household. We have a black lab that is about 65 pounds. He decided that he would rather sit in a camping chair than on the ground so he now has his own chair. He curls his whole body up into it and sleeps by the campfire at night. We plan to stencil the following on the back so as to avoid confusion as to who’s chair it really is: Jack Daniels AKA The Dog.
One of my mini doxies has a wonderful personality and when told ” Copper! I’m going to kick your butt!” He rolls over on his back and puts his “hands” in the air and smiles.
Then there’s Pete. Pete is the hillbilly that we met while camping in the redwoods this past summer. Have you ever seen a drunk cowboy ride a skateboard downhill, on his hands, while wearing a child’s pink bycicle helmet? Have you? I have and let me tell you it is hysterical!
You know how you are always telling your kids not to play with their food? Well, one night my son made this:
Yes, folks, that is a tortilla airplane.
Or how about a visit to Senor Frogs in Puerto Vallarta
Balloon hats can be so much fun can’t they?
So I will leave you with a funny photo of one of my dogs.

Life is full of laughs if observed. Too bad that many do not have a sense of humor and do not get it or see it. Animals are very innocent and therefore very funny.
