Good Advice

Take it or leave it.

When the world is down and we are up sometimes all we can offer someone is advice. Whether to use it to your benefit is entirely up to you:

What you don’t know doesn’t hurt you

Its true. For example, your beloved has been contacted by an old girlfriend. Before you go and get all discombobulated, remind yourself she is an ex for a reason.

Men are like buses, one comes along every twenty minutes

This applies only if you are man less, not if you are going through a horrible break-up. As one passes by, and the destination sign reads “single and semi-normal”, pay your fare and ride to the next stop.

Don’t skip breakfast

A glass of OJ and a piece of toast won’t kill your waistline and it probably will not make you late for work. But, ‘tis best to be late than not show up it all due to hunger pains or lack of energy. After all, who can rule the world on an empty stomach?

Anything worth doing is worth doing right

This applies to every aspect of life whether you are deciding what hair color choice would enhance your features, making your bed or promising the vow of for sicker or poorer. Do it and do it well.

Out of sight, out of mind

It may seem a little underhanded but when you need to get away and the mind needs to be cleared – truly out of sight and out mind is a welcomed relief.

Your attitude determines your altitude

Sure this seems a bit obnoxious but it does not hold water. Hold that head high, treat everyone as you would like to be treated and know that good things will come your way.
