Green Tree Frog
This green tree frog, once a common sight in any Australian garden is now endangered.

This fellow hopped onto my veranda one rainy night and sat still as a statue for several photos.
They may look it, but they are not slimey.
It is amusing to note that when you pick these guys up they almost always respond by urinating on you!
The Green tree frog is in no way related to the toad. The Green tree frog is not venomous and does not bite.
Their diet consists almost exclusively of insects.
The Green tree frog is also fond of living in bananna plantations where its skin is a natural camoflage.
