Keep Warm in Winter and Save Electricity

Published by Catherine South in Life

A fun, five-step program to keep warm and avoid the winter blues.

  1. Wear lots of layers of clothing, especially sheepskin slippers, woolen jerseys, scarves and gloves.
  2. Once you have all your layers of clothing on, tuck a hot water bottle under a jersey and near your tummy.
  3. Find a wide woolen scarf and wrap it around your head and shoulders. Only your eyes should show.
  4. Squeeze yourself into a sleeping bag, ensuring that it reaches right up under your chin. You should look a bit like a caterpillar.
  5. Hop up and down a passageway to get the blood circulating. Be sure to hold onto your hot water bottle!
