My pledge to Humanity is my promise to the world. I promise that i have never did a crime against humanity. Crimes against humanity include: crimes such as the extermination of civilians, enslavement, torture, rape, forced pregnancy, deportation, persecution on political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious or gender grounds, and enforced disappearances-but only when they are part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against a civilian population.

I promise to be thankful for living everyday, and learn from my mistakes.

In October of 2007, I had a crime committed against me and my husband. They broke into our home, raped me and beat my husband to a pulp. My thoughts on the world vary from experiences i may have. Whether they are good or Bad. My experience that night made me think about what humanity has become. It made me realize that humanity is what we make of it. Each of us have our own religion, thoughts and feelings about life. And how we react to it.

Before one can make a promise to the world, one must understand it.Humanity is everything. The Air which we breath, the ground we walk on, the people, plants, and animals that surround us, practically human nature. The science of humanity, Sociology, sociobiology and psychology, particularly evolutionary psychology and developmental psychology.

Everyone has one thing in common with humanity, and that is compassion. Compassion is an understanding of the emotional state of another or oneself. It is scary how everyone in the whole entire world can have one thing in common, even convicts. The ones humanity looks down upon.

I believe no one will truly understand humanity. We will only understand what we know, and what we have learned. When you are ready to make your promise to the world, think about what ou already know and understand, and give the world what you have to offer. Make a promise that hopefully changes your life and changes the world.

Humanity….. Here is my Pledge. I promise to be faithful to myself and others. I promise to never take life for-granted and be thankful for all that i have. I promise to have compassion. I promise to learn from my mistakes. I promise to never fear my emotions, love, hate, sadness, happiness, but learn to deal with them. I promise Ill try to understand you and live with what you have given me.
