A HUMEROUS LOOK AT SOME OF LIFE’S DEEPEST MYSTERIES.

Since my childhood there have been mysteries, some I have solved, but here are a few that are still a puzzle to me.

At school we were taught that no two snowflakes are the same, how do they Know? is there some omnipresent being that studies and logs down the details of every snowflake that has ever fallen? if there is such a being then his job makes Santa’s a walk in the park. While we are on the subject of cold things, how do thermos flasks know when to keep cold things cold, and hot things hot? Infinity, is another one of life’s mysteries, many people have gone mad trying to understand it, my own personal theory on the matter is that it is microscopic, it stands to reason, we are told that we cannot see infinity, so it must be. Another puzzle, one that I have solved, is that the speed of light is the fastest thing known to exist, this I dispute as I think it is the speed of thought, here’s my proof, scientists say that it takes light from the sun approximately eight minutes to reach earth, while I can think of the light from the sun reaching the earth in a lot less than eight minutes. Back to earth for the next mystery, salmon, after many years of study I have come to the conclusion that there are two species of salmon, fresh and canned, fresh salmon grows to all sizes as we can see on the fishmongers slab, but tinned salmon grow to the uniform size of the can that they are packed into. Medical science, a wonderful enigma, advances in this branch of science have lea pt foreword over the last few years, we can clone animals, in the near future you will be able to go to the doctors, and order a new liver, heart or any other organ thanks to stem cells, so why can’t they find a cure for the common cold? Directions have always puzzled me, not that I get lost a lot but if I start walking in a westerly direction I can do so indefinitely, but if I start walking in a northerly direction I eventually end up walking in a southerly direction even though I haven’t changed course. Finally I get a lot of spam from psychics, clairvoyants and astrologers all saying send me x amount of pounds or dollars and we will send you this weeks winning lottery numbers, what I would like to know is, if they are so clever how come they never win anything?
