Nine of the Most Unusual People I Have Met

Published by Goodselfme in Life

These people, for different reasons are rare.

Many people in our lives make an impact on us forever. These are some of the most unusual people I have met.

  1. A man actually named Jack Ass formerly something else, which I won’t mention for fear of a law suit. His birth name was common, however this man is no common person. He changed his name to bring attention to others about drunk drivers. I never could figure out the reasoning behind that.
  2. While I was on a pleasure trip from Kalispell Montana, to Bozemen, MT. I sat next to Rob Lowe. This was several years ago, when he was only in his early years of his career. We chatted pleasantly the entire 30 min. trip. I did not know who he was, but was told by my waiting son and daughter as I deplaned.
  3. Meeting Max Baucus, a senator then and still actively serving MT. as a senator was a golden moment. He is truly a man’s man, a great, humble, everyday person. His service to MT. keeps him well liked term after term.
  4. My Grandfather was an exceptional man. He is the best man I have ever met. He never had a bad word for anyone. Never would he listen to gossip or degrading of anyone. I am named after him. His name was Ernest Robert and lucky for me, my mother chose the female of Robert and I became Roberta. I have always been glad I was not named Ernestine.
  5. Mr. Tarrant was my French teacher in junior and senior high school. He was as Irish as Patty’s pig, yet taught French. Can you imagine that? He had such a way to introduce the French language making it a fun time for everyone.
  6. My English teacher, Mr. Errick was an instrumental influence in my early development of many of the things I now enjoy. He was strict and tidy, not allowing for much flexibility in his class except when it came time for creativity.
  7. Lily, who’s last name I will leave out, was a true dual personality. I had never met a true dual personality. I never knew which person I was with at the time until time allowed me that info.
  8. Bobby is a man I fell in love with after one hug. If love at first sight is in your belief system, then you know how this was possible. Unfortunately, I was only his one in a million, not his once in a lifetime. We are not a couple now, however we still keep in touch.
  9. Joe, is the most everyday, Godly man I ever met. He walks the walk and talks the talk everyday. I admire his devotion.

My list could be longer, I am sure, but these are the people I want to share with you now.
