10 gym etiquette rules that should always be obeyed.

1.    Thou shall not use thy mobile phone unless for non communicatory -purposes.

2.    Thou shall not bang the weights on each rep to show how strong you are. If you’re strong enough to lift it, then you’re strong enough to control it.

3.    Thou shall never sit at a station for 3 minutes or more between sets.  If your panting persists for this long, then allow others to step in, or get on the treadmill.

4.    Thou shall not check oneself out in the mirror while pulling a self-congratulatory face.

5.    Thou shall puteth the dumbbells back, as a pair.  Time spent foraging is time lost getting massive.

6.    Thou shall not grunt unnecessarily, unless: 1. the weight is more than your body weight, or 2. Its your last rep of a set.  More than this and you’ll sound like a female tennis player.

7.    Thou shall always concentrate when spotting, and not looking in the mirror opposite.

8.    Thou shall remove excess sweat from benches.  Leaving a snail trail behind is not nice.

9.     Thou shall not covet fellow gym goers.  Look at the gym hottie, but don’t stare.

10.  Don’t Wear Lycra.
