The World is a Strange Place
There are many odd things that go on in an ordinary week that really make you think.
- It is a strange world when a homeless man asks you for money for food as you enter a fast food joint, and when you offer to buy him a meal does he declines and walks away?
- It is a strange world when you walk outside and someone is at the end of your driveway with a camcorder recording you walking to check your mail.
- It is a strange world when a priest comes to you for a paranormal issue because his own religion declines giving him assistance.
- It is a strange world when one of your twin sons hits the other twin son and tells you the reason he hit his brother was because his brother was thinking about hitting him.
- It is a strange world when someone working at a movie theater recognizes you and offers to give you and your kids all free passes into the movie, but after you say thanks but decline they will not let the lady in behind you due to being 50 cents short.
- It is a strange world when some 18-year-old pulls up next to you at a red light in a 1988 Volkswagen that’s burning oil and revs his engine wanting to race but then can’t keep his car from stalling and you slowly idle away.
- It is a strange world when a lightning bolt hits your home and burns out all electronics like it did to us on Tuesday, and after talking to your neighbor you find he has been hit twice this year.
- It is a strange world when some one sends you an email saying you and them dated back in junior high and when you look them up they lived in a totally different state and have a rap sheet.
- It is a strange world when you wake up in the morning and have two dogs and two cats laying with you, but you only own one cat.
- It is a strange world when you sit on your back porch at 1am and after you hear a noise in the woods your Sheppard (which are trained to protect) come running and crying to you looking for protection.
