I have an extremely modest proposal, that I believe should be considered.  I’m sure we’re all familiar with the ongoing fight over whether marijuana should be legal in states.  It’s just a simple plant that grows naturally with far less health risks than say, alcohol or tobacco.  It even has benefits to it, unlike the aforementioned drugs!  In fact, I strongly suggest that marijuana should not only be legalized, but become a necessity to be an American!  No, a human!  Across the world, marijuana laws should be strictly enforced.  What I mean by that is to make sure everyone in the world must smoke at least one appropriately sized doobie every single day.  Think of the benefits that this will bring to our society!

An end to world wars- Who would even want to fight when you could just lie on a couch all day playing video games or watching Seth Rogen films?

Boost in the global economy- Widespread cases of the “munchies” will cause consumers to flock to super markets everywhere, making the companies more successful than ever.  Cheetos and Mexican Taquerias would benefit even more significantly than anything else.

The end of racism- Race will no longer matter, because we can all relate under one physical color found in our appearance- Red.  Our bloodshot eyes will unite us all!

These are only a few examples of the positive results we would get if the whole world was forced to smoke pot.  Of course, there is a possibility that everyone would be too lazy to get around to any of the aspects mentioned above.
