Celebrating Christmas in The Nude (Or, Naked Christmas Carols)

Go ahead and get naked for God!!!

Okay, I know what you’re going to say, “He flipped his wig!” No, I haven’t, I actually believe this to be the sanest thought I ever had. Surely we at times have walked our houses naked, after all we have to shower naked, don’t we? Life has provided us with the daily task of taking our clothes off and putting them back on. But, why do we actually have to do that, symbolically anyway? We are always visible to God. Even Adam and Eve when questioned, tried to hide their bodies, but God still saw. He sees us now and guess what? He loves us the way we are. When I say to get naked people I am not referring to your clothes but actually to your hearts and spirits. Expose yourself to the truth of Christmas, the wonder, the joy, the hope. Bask in the sunlight of new days, forgiveness and chances. Sing proudly of self and the fact that we are loved enough that God sent His own son to us, to live among us, to love with us, to teach us. Be not afraid to exalt Him but stand in the spotlight of true devotion to Him. So I say to you all this Christmas and from here on, stand naked in your faith and expose yourself to all, for they will then see not shame but happiness and strength. Love and Merry Christmas to you all!

Okay, I’ll admit, you had me going for a minute there. I was ready to close all the shades and be on the look-out for people wandering around singing in the nude. LOL! Seriously though, great article and wonderful point. Happy Holidays to you too!
