If You Were in My Shoes, You Could Have Been Me

It is an anecdote about living in politics…

Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, your long agony has just ended because this evening my time is really over. I really have to go down and leave my seat and let someone take over it.

And before that happens, let me share with you a very simple thought that I have learned from the very days I was in my public service. This very significant and memorable evening marks another history in politics. As I step down from the president’s stair carpet to the people whom I serve the most, here tonight, I am confident that I learn something good English! Laughing out loud! No, I am just kidding.

What I want to say is that being a president is a privilege. Also, it is a difficult especially when your opponents will find ways to make you down. Anyway, I am happy that I have been the president because… I earn something…

To my opponents, if you were in my big, big shoes, you could have been me. Enjoy sitting on my hot seat and earn something…

in this earth you should learn how to stand and manage alone because you don’t know who are the people that will make you down.
