They get a Memorial day for thanks and memory. Why dont engineers, musicains, doctors, or scientists? They are all a career. Sure, soldiers put their life on the line, but that is their dumb choice, and it is still just a career. I think that most of the soldiers just go into the military becuase they dont think they can do anything else. I’ve heard from many a soldiers that the reason they are in the army, or marines, or anyting of that sort, is because they are too dumb to go to college to get a real job or career. I am sticking with that idea, and I think that the government should concider all of the people they are offending by making a memorial day, but no engineers day, musicains day, doctors day, or scientists day. They should really think about all of the other people who make a difference in this world, but in a more logical and decent way. They simply arent special because they arent willing to sacrifice themsleves for others; that is a load of crap because anyone in the right mind would not be willing to kill themself.
