Another shocking Celebrity Death…
The rumors have been flooding the net since early Monday morning that Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, otherwise known as Pop music sensation Lady Gaga, had died of a drug overdose in a Vancouver hospital.
It has been confirmed that she was rushed to the medical facility at approximately 4:00 a.m. after ingesting a large amount of an undisclosed narcotic. Reports began to leak soon after that the diva had, in fact, passed away, but the reports remained unconfirmed untill shortly after 11 a.m. EST when the singer’s agent released the following press statement:
The world has lost a genuine innovator, a woman who brought joy and entertainment to millions when Lady Gaga died this morning shortly after 9:00 a.m. in a Vancouver hospital. She was loved and will be mourned and missed by all who’s life she touched.
Lady Gaga has virtually ruled the pop music world for the last two years with a chain of #1 songs and huge world tours. Her stylings followed the vein of David Bowie and queen, and she was often compared favorably to her icon, Madonna.
More details are expected soon, although autopsy results may take several weeks. Once more, Pop Diva Lady Gaga has died at the age of 24.
