The Asian Grading System

The Satire on the Asian Grading System, a point by point system that determines what your fate shall be.

A teacher can easily explain the school system of grading, 90- 100 for an A, 60 and below an F, and everything else in between. Most students have this lenient table of grades embedded within their heads as well, but what most people do not know is the Asian Grading System. The Asian Grading System, or AGS, is an advanced way of grading student’s works and efforts, obviously A being the highest grade and F being the lowest you can get. What’s the difference between the two systems?

If you said everything is the same, and nothing is different whatsoever, then I am glad to say that you are absolutely WRONG! The AGS consists of three letter grades, A, B, and C, also included with this beneficial package are severe and deadly punishments. The GRS’s major grades have been defined as: A equals Average, B equals Bad, and C equals “cicked” out of the house.

As a student, I feel obliged to inform others how the punishment for a B is like. First, they asked me to sit down at the dinner table. Blood pounded inside me and sweat trickled down the sides of my face as my eyes slowly leveled up to their faces. A peaceful face about to have a nice little discussion was what I remembered. All of a sudden, the calm manner erupted into a menacing, red- faced, loud piercing voiced, demon- like personality. Torrents of scolding slashed at me; insults and remarks lingered in the air. Then it was silent. Silent enough I could hear my breath, my heart, my blood, my brain, my liver, and my toes; it was almost too quiet.

The rest wasn’t all that interesting. A few smacks on the fingers with a stick, not much. I personally feel that the GRS can be changed to be a little easier on the victims, because now, my mom wouldn’t settle unless I got 30 out of 10 questions right.
