The Gospel According to Fred Flintstone

Published by Allison Jae in Humor

Here’s are some Flintstone Philosophies.

Who
would have thunk it? Amid all his arguments with Barney, his
collisions with Dino and his encounters with The Great Gazoo, Fred
Flintstone was teaching us something.

And
while the Federal Communications Commission doesn’t view Fred’s
lessons in values as Educational programming, chances are you walked
away from the carton with more than you thought you did.

Here
are some of the lessons we learned from the Modern Stone-Aged Family:

  • Never
underestimate the strength of a child.

  • Never
    bet more than you have.

  • Wealthy
    oil men drive big cars.

  • Pets
    make excellent companions.

  • It
is possible to have pollution-free cars.

  • Never
    leave a child unattended.

  • Household
appliances have minds of their own.

  • Never
put too many items on a drive-in tray.

  • Carpooling
    can work.

  • It’s
always a good idea to remember your anniversary.

  • The
little guy can beat the system.

  • Good
    stone walls make good neighbors.

  • Expectant
    fathers do crazy things.

  • Friendship
    is important.

These
are just a few Flintstone philosophies off the top of my head. If
anyone can think of any more, feel free to leave them in the
comments. Thanks for reading.

Gee, I forgot all about the drive-in tray pulling the car over until I read this! Funny, yet remarkably true, especially these days.

Never thought there was that much to learn from the Flintstone. Even after watching some of the reruns on boomerang.
