Ever been into a situation where you were playing your favourite online game and suddenly out of nowhere some one says “lol”? Well, many of us use that word for many reasons. And, if you are really thinking what really “lol” is then here it is!

In MODERN English, there are approximately 2209 slang words and acronyms. Surely you don’t need to remember this fact, however many people like to use slang words as it very easy to say out without spelling the whole thing. So what does “lol” mean? Is it  Lots of luck, Lots of Love or even Little ol’ lady? Sadly, in the industrialized world, NO. It is simple, Laugh out Loud. That’s right! Since lol is a familiar word in the Internet today, you may soon find yourself gaining more friends just because you say “lol”! Amazing, isn’t it?
3. Not always is “lol” good. Sometimes, that little 3 letter word can land someone in a string of verbal abuse over the Internet. How sad! This is the case especially if you use this word on someone very “sensitive”. Good news for you! We too hate very “sensitive” people who get hurt easily!
4. It is the most coolest and easiest slang word in the world! LOL, get it? And have you notice something? Look at your keyboard and locate “L” and “O”. You would see that they both are unusually very close and you can type them out in a second!
5. When you want to “praise” someone! When we say “praise”, we mean boo. Remember the time when someone told you a “funny” joke which was not even a bit funny? Then, you could easily say “lol” quite loud to mean what you are really saying!
