True Stories and True Confessions Magazines

True Stories and True Confessions are two of the best magazines that I read growing up. I don’t think that they were written by Hearst Publications, but the uniqueness doesn’t have that same brand anyway. The magazine has three things that a woman enjoys more than the Ladie’s Home Journal. It’s stories of love and friendship, recipes and family. There are writing contests like for women like you and me that enjoy to write a good love story and read them at the same time.

I used to read them at my grandmother’s house growing up. There wasn’t many children’s books lying around and not many things to do but cut paperdolls out of old pattern magazines and keep them in old tea boxes. The stories connected with women because of the homemakers and  keeping their families together without  our conventional way of doing things. The baby pictures with the popup bubbles and makeup tips were affordable, cheap and simple. They weren’t complicated like how to get into the righ position to make love or special tools to keep your eyelashes curled so perfectly you would glitter.

It also taught  how to deal with disease and the harder things in life like Cancer, disease, sick kids, work and other targeted content that a woman needs. The right shade of lipstick will not make you woo the right man into the alley for sex, but it will make you look better in a dress you hate. The problem with today’s content in women’s magazines is it is not exactly what the woman wants to read because it’s been copy and pasted to hell and True Stories and True Confessions never gets old no matter what.

I think you can find it at  http://www.magazines.com and it is probably found as one of the best bargains that you can afford without going all over the internet falling into the same content over again. You can also have your input published in their magazine and it’s easier to get published than other magazines that you may see online so go out and  get a copy today of True Stories and True Confessions.
