Maybe I’m the crazy one, but I don’t understand how a state can place laws of virginity. To me, virginity is sacred. It is something that nobody can tell you how to “use”, especially the government.

Washington seems to have lost their minds with the whole virginity aspect of a relationship. Their law pertaining to virginity is absolutely absurd. It is against the law to have sex with a virgin under any circumstances. This includes on the wedding night. Now, are they trying to wipe out the population of the state? If you are never allowed to have sex with a virgin, then how are you allowed to have sex at all? Apparently, they expect you to go out of state to consummate your relationship. I literally laughed when I read about this law.

Another law that is totally out there was created by the state of Alabama. In the lovely state of Alabama it is against the law for a man to seduce “a chaste woman by means of temptation, deception, arts, flattery or a promise of marriage.” So, how are they supposed to seduce her? By treating her poorly, and telling her they never want to get married? I’ve heard of some crazy laws, but these two top the charts.

I have never understood what goes into the thinking process for some of the laws in our wonderful country. Washington and Alabama have definitely made my understanding even more foggy. However, reading about these laws always provides me with a good laugh!
