Some funny facts about bosses based on my personal work experience.

  • When you made a mistake, you are being careless.
    When your boss made a mistake, he has been too busy.
  • When you are late for submitting your reports, you are slow.
    When your boss are late in submitting his work, he is being thorough and merticulous.
  • During a meeting, when your boss ask you “What is your sensing?”, it usually means that he does not have a slightest idea on what is going on.
  • When you are sitting around doing nothing, you are skiving.
    When your boss is doing nothing, he is thinking.
  • When your department gets poor results, its poor teamwork.
    When your department gets good results, its good leadership.
  • When you comes to work late, you lack punctuality.
    When your boss comes to work late, it was because he worked all night.
  • When you take risk during your course of work and it fails, it become negligence.
    When your boss takes risk and it fails, its calculated risk.
  • When your boss asked for your most truthful feedback about him and you replied truthfully, you should be looking for another job.
  • When your boss gives you a task and tells you to complete it by ‘today’, he actually means ‘now’.
  • When you take unofficial breaks with colleagues, you are being irrresponsible and lazy.
    When your boss takes unofficial breaks with people from management, its rapport building.
