Advice concerning all facets of the Human Experience.
Dear Doctor,
I am a 34 year old divorced female who has been struggling with my weight for about the past 20 years or so. The problem that I have is that people are not willing to see the inner beauty, but all they want to do is talk behind my back about how I need to lose weight, slim down, exercise and all that. It has taken me years to get to the point where I have accepted myself as a beautiful woman, in spite of being 80 pounds over “my ideal weight” whatever that means. What can I do to help the ignorant masses to accept me, and get over their biases against large women? I fear that my self esteem will suffer at the hands of these unenlightened individuals if they don’t soon get some help.
Big Is Beautiful, Baby!
Sincerely,
Jeanine
Dear Jeanine,
You are too fat. You eat too much. If you have accepted yourself as “beautiful woman”, then I fear you are delusional, also. I can recommend specialist, if you send personal email. And this too, I would add, “Big Is NOT Beautiful”, it is just BIG. And that also rhymes with PIG, you should know this also, as well.
