Excuses Which Are So Obvious
I had nothing to do so I made this. This is a list of excuses I often heard from my ex which at that time, I stupidly believed. Take a look at the list yourselves.
- I can’t tell anyone about us, the school will object and my family will get mad… (As if schools object to relationships when one is an honor student and the other doesn’t cause trouble).
- I can’t take you home, girls are not allowed. (Really? Can you explain why your classmate in grade 4 whom you’ve only really got to talk to now, is allowed?)
- I can’t call you up, I’m not allowed to call girls. (So you mean, your family won’t even let you call your classmate? And how do they know when it’s a male or female you are talking to?)
- I’m grounded for two months. (see numbers 5-7 this is complicated).
- I can try to make it to your place.
- I really can’t.
- You can’t see me for two months. There is just no way. (Really now, for your friends you’ll find a way, for me, you keep changing statements).
- I can’t text you. I’m not allowed to text any girl. (As if your family can always monitor who you’re texting).
- I will never leave you, I’ll always be your friend. (You can’t even call me up or talk to me in school, yet you say this?)
- I love you. (After the 9 reasons, you think I’d believe you?)
