Crying Children

When Crying Becomes Too Much.

Children cry for the silliest reasons. Sometimes it is for a good reason, most times…No… There is a little girl that I know who cries all day long. She complains about everything in the world just to have an excuse to cry. How early does depression start? She has even gone as far as scratching herself so that she can make up something to cry about. I just don’t get it. Where has this child learned such a behavior? What are we exposing our young people to these days? When I was four, I was trying to score a new bike. I cried once like that. When my parents were beheading pigeons. I cried myself to sleep. The only other time I cried is when I was getting beat and that was on a regular basis, so even that crying stopped.

Then there are the sounds a child makes when they cry. The levels of screeching, whining, bawling… It makes me crazy. Why can’t they just whimper a little bit and have that single tear fall from the corner of their eye. If that was all to kids crying then you wouldn’t have these half crazy mothers trying to kill themselves and/or their children. I mean, there isn’t a whole lot you can do. That is just the way that we are made up. It is a mechanism that indicates some sort of feeling/emotion. Babies cry because they can not talk. Even small babies stop crying once their needs are met.
