Most men’s idea for a special occasion is like women’s. This is nothing new to women or men, but here is a little tip or at least what I think women should know about us men. Recently I celebrated a four year anniversary with my fiancé whose name will remain anonymous. We didn’t have any big plans and spent the night doing what we do most nights, play on the computer or watch television.

Now to most women this may seem like a sad event. But it wasn’t, she knows that if asked or told to tell her how much she means to me I usually stumble with words and end up repeating myself. However when she lets it come to me naturally I make her feel like she is the only women in the world that matters, and she is. When I’m looking at her and I become over filled with the joy and love I have for her the words come spilling out and I can’t stop them.

It’s not to say I didn’t buy her a cute stuffed dog for our anniversary but that it’s much nicer when it comes from me then when she wants to hear it. There are times when she comes home after a long day to find the house clean a vase with roses and dinner for two, and to her it makes it more special because it wasn’t a day set aside for just that but a day when I took the time to let her know how important she is to me. So if we men get a little carried away with out day to day lives and forget to do something, try waiting just a bit and see if we do even better when you’re least expecting it.
