The World’s Longest and Dumbest Joke
A guy who lives all alone in a big house has an adventure.
There was once a man who lived all alone in a house with a 999-step staircase. Every morning the man would go down the 999-step staircase, go about his daily chores, go up the 999-step staircase and go to bed.
One night as the man was about to retire, he heard a knock on his front door. He goes down the 999-step staircase and answers the door. There’s a man standing there. He says, “Hi, my car broke down, can I stay the night?” The owner says, “Sure, c’mon up.” So the two of them go up the 999-step staircase and go to bed.
A while later there’s another knock on the door. The man goes down the 999-step staircase and goes to answer the door. There’s a man standing there. He says, “Hi, my car broke down, can I stay the night?” The man says, “Sure, c’mon up. The two of them go up the 999-step staircase and go to bed.
A little while later there’s yet another knock at the door. The man goes down the 999-step staircase and goes to answer the door. There’s a woman standing there. She says, “Hi, my car broke down, can I stay the night?” The guy says, “Sure, c’mon up.” And the two of them go up the 999-step staircase and go to bed.
In the morning, the man goes to the first guest bedroom and he asks the guy, “What would you like for breakfast?” And the guy answers, “Corn Flakes.” So the man goes down the 999-step staircase, gets the guy his Corn Flakes, goes up the 999-step staircase, and gives the guy his Corn Flakes.
Then he goes to the second guest bedroom and asks the guy, “What would you like for breakfast?” The guy answers, “Oh, I’ll have some Corn Flakes.” And the man goes down the 999-step staircase, gets the guy his Corn Flakes, goes up the 999-step staircase, and gives the guy his Corn Flakes.
Finally he goes to the third room and asks the woman, “What would you like for breakfast?” And she says, “I want Rice Krispies.” So the man goes down the 999-step staircase, gets the woman her Rice Krispies, goes up the 999-step staircase, and gives the woman her Rice Krispies.
What’s the moral of the story? Two out of three people like Corn Flakes.
