How to Prank Your Enemies: Construction Zone Home

Ever want to annoy the person you hate most without them knowing? The “Construction Zone Home” prank is great for the target with a home and car. Part of my “How To Prank Your Enemies” series.

Whether it be a neighbor, co-worker, fellow student, or just a plain old enemy you’ve hated for a while, there are some great ways to boil their blood (without the kettle or fire). These tricks aren’t too hard to accomplish, either. Take a look at the first concept in my “How to Prank Your Enemies” series:

Since I probably can’t advise you to do illegal things such as stealing state property, let’s just assume you have a few dozen traffic cones lying around from a construction project you had done on your home this year. The tricky part of this stunt will be the transportation of the cones, but if you find a way, here’s what you do:

Fill the enemy driveway up with as many cones as possible and as close together as possible. This works best if the target has a garage that is connected to the house, so they won’t even be aware of the cones until they open up the garage door and prepare to pull out. Well, once they realize what the mass of orange is, they will be forced to get out of their car and clear the path.

Good thing about cones: They’re made heavy so they don’t get knocked over by wind or easy hits. How does this help you? Well, the enemy now has to move all the cones and can only carry two at a time because of their weight. Plus, I doubt they will want to go to work all day and leave their yard full of the ugly things, so they will probably have to move them into the backyard or some other storage area for the time being. If you have 50 cones, you can guess it’s going to take a nice amount of time for that driveway to be cleared. This trick is even better if you know the person is someone who waits until last minute to leave for work, because now they’re going to be late for sure.

Optional extension: Once they leave for work, gain access to the cones once more and reposition them all on the driveway. Now the target has to leave their car on the road and clear the path before being able to return home.

Other Tips:
-Don’t repeat the prank too many times, or your enemy may install a security camera and track you down. One to three times on non-consecutive days is ideal.
-If your traffic cones have some brand from the original user on them (Ex: Department of Road Maintenance), try to paint over it.
-Position the traffic cones strategically so that the target’s car cannot leave until every single cone has been removed.

Haha. I have not done this, but I think it would be funny if done.
