Hall guards have their duties in the high school. They make sure that students follow the rules. Of course, some students like to test the hall guards and see how much they can get away with. Here are six things that a student should not do in front of a hall guard:

1. You should never talk on a cell phone in front of a hall guard. “You have a sharp looking cell phone. Love the features. Sorry, you have just donated it to the main office. If you want it back, a parent must come to the school to pick it up. And oh yes, have a nice day.”.
2. You should never wear your hood in front of a hall guard. “Fine looking jacket that you have on. Guess what? You’ve just decided to put it in the lost and found. With any luck, it will still be there at the end of the day.”.
3. You should never run in front of a hall guard. “Slow down George. No racing in the hall. Let’s just have a time out in the main office. You can have a conversation with the principal. He used to be a long distance runner in high school.”.
4. You should never kiss your girlfriend passionately in front of a hall guard. “Jennifer, do you really want to get a reputation in school? And Tony, locking lips in high school with a new girlfriend every hour can really get you in trouble. In fact, it already has. Let’s see the assistant principal.
