Published by mox in Offbeat

When a presidential race is in full stride, most pay close attention to the daily speeches and take part in furious debates with friends and co-workers. Some make merchandise that is so outlandish Rue Paul would be embarrassed.

A new line of lipstick featuring the the slogan “I Kiss Barack”

Next night out, order a heaping glass of Barack Obama Wine, how long could this of possibly aged?

These 3 buttons were among the most bizarre I could find. One looks to be designed by an aging hippie, the other by an aging cartoonist and the last by an aging troll doll maker. Nothing shows support like a naked, blue haired troll.

Barack Obama Earrings made from campaign pins, curiously enough, these are among the less weird pieces of Obama paraphernalia littered amongst the internet.

Barack Obama Magnet series, comes in a set of 6. I’ve chosen not to show all 6, because you get the idea.

A die cast molding of Barack Obama and his democratic supporters, including Rev. Jessie Jackson. Barack Obama is smoking a cigarette, And I believe either a stick of dynamite or a carrot to be coming out of the character on the right.

Barack Obama collector card, reflecting the democratic nomination with hillary supporting him.

Next time you reach for a post-it note, reach for one with historical accuracy with this Obama post-it note holder.

Probably the hoakiest, most poorly planned greeting card ever made by Hallmark, and thats saying a lot. I just don’t think anyone has ever been so poorly quoted as Barack was on this card.

Barack Obama Dog Tags. Printed onto a piece of metal after being lifted from the cover of a Time magazine.

Obama wristbands. Yet again, ones of the less audacious pieces of swag out there.

Barack Lincolnesque poster. At least it’s creative. Both were born in Illinois.

Barack Obama glow in the dark refrigerator magnet. Need I say more?

Next time you need a knife, ruler, bottle opener scissors or a fingernail file, reach for your Obama keychain.

Barack on Broadway. If presidential history making world changing hope isn’t in the books for Obama, at least he has something to fall back on.

Glowing Neon bar sign, so we can immediately associate our future president with a dark, smoky bar.

Now I’m not going to lie, I don’t know much about Star Trek but apparently someone or something is a Vulcan named Barack. Wear this shirt and show off your nerdy liberal side.

Whenever I’m feeling blue at the office, I look down to see my Barack Obama paperweight happily staring back at me telling me it’s o.k.!

Barack Obama lighters are all the rage with the underage smokers. Not only are they cool because they are smoking, but they’re lighting a smoke with none other than Barack’s characterized political face smiling back at them.

Jewel studded Barack Obama wristwatch with a rainbow background is the perfect gift for any collector of campaign knickknacks and trinkets.

A life size standing cardboard cut out of Barack would be the perfect adornment to any new home or apartment.

To show your patriotism, a Obama bear will look best on your mantle or desk. Chock full of pro-americanness goodness.

I wonder if Barack ever played baseball?

For the young liberals out there, Color Me Extraordinary Barack Obama Coloring Book.

Barack doll with moving appendages, this will be worth something in twenty years…

Novelty Cash with Barack’s face instead of Washingtons. Maybe one day he will have his own bill.

This is possibly the most bizarre of all the trinkets I’ve come across. It’s a mock debate between Barack and Hillary, but they’re skeletons. I don’t understand the reference, possibly the hollowness of politics? Or maybe the hollowness of hocking political garb?

Perfect gift for the stamp collector everyone knows.

This solar powered L.E.D. keychain flashes “Barack” every two minutes. So incase the coloring book, earring, necklace, wristwatch, poster, knife and buttons don’t show your support, this will.

Barack bobble head. Maybe these were given out before a baseball game.

This patriotic guitar is perfect for singing your next pro revolution patriotic song on!

Novelty license plates are no joke in California, especially when they are liberal.

Holloween is just three short months away, get ready to scare and delight with a new Barack mask.

Capitalism in America surfaces during times of extreme patriotism, which sometimes includes a presidential election.

lol, i agree that the mock debate between Barack and Hillary skeletons is the most bizarre of all the trinkets. I also found a side-by-side videos of “McCain’s New TV Ad on Obama’s ‘Celebrity’ like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and The Democratic TV Ad on McCain: Are We Better Off?” being clash. Well, sooner or later you knew it had to start! The media is begging for it and the people want to see some fight in their candidates. So here ya go…and I am sure this is only the beginning. It’s actually in http://clashorama.com/index.php?id=191

We at Ojamas Sleepwear are mildly offended that our product, Ojamas, was not included in your very comprehensive and entertaining list of the wackiest weirdest Obama merchandise. We will assume that either you deemed our concept too functional and innovative to be considered weird and wacky, or we just missed your cutoff at number 36. Thanks ;-) http://www.ojamas.us

I think the idea of Obama’s face on money will work well, especially when the huge deficit spending plans trigger the inflation that will eventually require a lot more digits on our currency. Change? Got change for a $1M?

Correct. Barack H. Obama was not born in Illinois, he was born in Hawaii in 1961.
