Censorship

Yep, censorship. This may get a little ugly.

O.k., like always, I would like to start off saying this will contain what some of you consider “vulgar language” so like I said before, don’t like it, leave. Disregard that, as I learned from a reply after trying to publish this article, I must take out all the “bad words”. Thanks a lot guys, really.

The seven dirty words, or as George Carlin put it, the 7 words you can’t say on T.V. explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit and family friendly. Yeah, I know it’s not the same as actually reading them, but you can see them here, I’ll give you a minute. Well, that’s it, see, it wasn’t so bad, just nothing but a few words.  See, what I’m trying to say is they are just words, the FCC has blown things way out of proportion.” Oh, well Little Timmy heard the F word and now he’s saying it!” Well, that’s your problem, you probably should try to stop him from watching or reading it, just don’t blame us. See, Little Timmy, and other kids across America have started cussing, and instead of taking responsibility, the parents are trying to pawn it off on us, the innocent writers. “Well, you all should be careful what you say!” How about no, in fact, how about I say this, explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit and family friendly! See, don’t you explicit hate censorship, it doesn’t have the same feel as actually saying the “F-Bomb” They are just words people. Now, I understand about the respect issue, so I’m going to say this once, kids, don’t cuss at your elders and superiors. But you know what will happen, they’ll keep doing it, they’ll keep doing it until they mature. In the meantime, “worried parents” and officials should just let things take their course. You know what I heard yesterday? Kids can be fined for cussing now! That’s ridiculous! You “officials” should get off your high horse, because I know you all have cussed at least once. Well, that’s it for now; please comment and I don’t mind suggestions. I would like to thank George Carlin for inspiring this rant.
