Eight Thrilling Things You Should Do at Least Once in Your Lifetime
A list of eight things that everyone must do in their lifetime.
In no particular order:
1. Jump off the Macau Tower Sky Jump, the highest commercial bungee jump in the world. Only beaten by the commercial, but rarely available, jump at the Grand Gorge Bridge in Colorado, this jump is 233 feet high.
2. Ride on the most thrilling roller coaster. If you are going for the highest drop, you want to ride the Kingda Ka in Jackson, New Jersey, with a drop of 418 feet. It is also the fastest, going at 128 miles per hour. The steepest roller coaster is the Vild-Svinet, which is located in Holme-Olstrup, Denmark, and has a descent angle of 97 degrees.
3. Like the pros, climb Mount Everest, the tallest mountain reaching 29,035 feet at the summit. Well, you might not be that great of a mountain climber yet. However, there are guided climbs with companies such as alpine ascents. It may cost a large sum of $65,000, but the thrill of being at the top of the world should be worth it.
4. Explore the workings of a volcano. Well, just jumping in may not be the solution. Luckily, Native Guide Hawaii offers exciting and educational trips with fully trained guides to help you navigate throughout the dangerous structures. Here is a slide show of what you could be experiencing.

5. Go Scuba Diving in deep waters. You may not be able to beat Nuno Gomes’ world record of 318.25 meters in the Red Sea after 12 hours and 20 minutes, but you can still have some thrills swimming underwater with both friendly fishes and unfriendly creatures.
6. Skydive from as high up as you can. Don’t go up to 14,000 feet like Joe Kittinger did, but you can still achieve that childhood nightmare of endlessly falling into air.
7. Ski down the slopes in Blackcomb, Canada, Mammoth Mountain, California, and the Palisdes at Squaw. These areas feature resorts with some of the steepest slopes and the hardest jumps. Be careful though. Most of these slopesar double black diamond, or expert slopes.
8. Now that you have explored high and low just sit down on your couch and watch a movie. Not just any movie, but The Exorcist. Currently ranked the scariest movie, it is about girl possessed by Satin. It earned $402,500,000 worldwide and received 10 Academy award nominations, winning two.

Regretfully, due to climatic warming, there isn’t really any snow left to ski down Chacaltaya. The lodge is still there, though, and the location offers great views. There is a glass pyramid which was set up as a high altitude research station, but tourists and locals alike have pretty much looted and broken anything of value there. Why not just change number seven to “Visit Bolivia”, instead. There are plenty of thrilling things to do here, from thrilling bike rides, to thrilling jungle adventures. You’ll be glad you came.
Thank you, it used to great place though. It will be changed by tommorow.
#6: Kittinger’s jump was from 102,800 feet. Regular skydivers routinely jump from 13,000 feet, so 14,000 isn’t really that special.
