How to Create a Superman
There will be ways to create supermen in the future.
According to the comic books, Superman came from a distant world that had a giant red sun. Supposedly, our blue-white star allowed him to become superior to humans. But in the future, supermen could be created.
First off, from what we learned on the show “Heros,” they were genetically altered to allow them to have special abilities. That will be done for humans. The ability to fly may be done by adjusting a person’s physoelectrical field so that he can circulate it in the same way a UFO is supposed to circulate its motive field. A person would extend his field and displace the earth’s field and fly.
It would be easier to have a flying suit that generates the displacement/motive field. With the suit, a person might be able to align the earth’s field to create an electromagnetic tube that will allow him to be accelerated and shot out into space. With an air scrubber like that aboard a submarine and a nuclear reactor that will be able to power the suit and remove carbon from the carbon dioxide exhaled, a person will be able to breathe continually.
With a displacement field, air friction even at high speeds will be eliminated because the field we emit will take the friction. There have been accounts of people able to levitate themselves. It could be they had a genetic ability to displace the earth’s fields. In the future, we may discover what genes are involved and modify them to allow us to fly.
Superman can create laser beams with his eyes. Most likely, the laser eyes would have to be similar to semi-conductor lasers. But if a person is able to generate a strong electromagnetic field, the light that enters his eyes could be reflected back through the lenses and mixed with concentrated electromagnetic energy beams to form the equivalent of phaser beams. They would be just as powerful as the lasers that Superman’s eyes can form.
I would have to replace the muscles with synthetic muscles that are much stronger than normal muscles. The bones would also have to be reinforced to allow the people to lift things weighing tons. With synthetic muscles, blood won’t be needed for them. They would use an electrochemical reaction to expand and contract. The synthetic muscles would be made from material that is much stronger than steel.
The skin would have to be synthetic and able to repel bullets. It would also have to have pores so that the people with the artificial skin can sweat. Yet it would be waterproof enough so that the people don’t absorb water like a sponge.
The genetic structure would have to be adjusted so that it can produce superior antibodies that can attack any disease. And while scientists are at it, they might as well replace the telamerase molecule with something that can be replicated so that the cells can continue to replicate forever. Also, the genes would have to be adjusted so that the people never age and have no weak genes.
As for Kryptonite, the supermen that science might create in the future won’t be vulnerable to that substance since it doesn’t exist. It was actually invented during the Superman radio program to allow him to have a way to go on vacation. Radiation may affect the new supermen. But other than that, they will be faster than a speeding bullet, stronger than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
But the supermen I envision would also have biosynthetic brain cells and implants that will allow them to have a mind better than a computer. Synthetic ears, eyes, noses, and tongues would allow them to be superior to humans. Also, special genes would program the people to have the ability to see things in different frequency ranges. That means the supermen could see things in infrared and ultraviolet. The implants in the brain may have to adjust the sight so that all the frequencies aren’t visible at the same time or the people could go insane. I don’t think Superman could see ghosts like they do with the infrared sensors on ghost hunting programs and in the eyes of the supermen.
The supermen will also be able to read minds since our thoughts are like a very low-powered radio signal. If people are sensitive to the thoughts that are basically bio-electrical, the supermen will have that ability too. They might even be able to manipulate minds. They could place thoughts in people minds.
If the supermen can vibrate at a high frequency, he might be able to walk through walls, become invisible, and maybe teleport from one place to another instead of just fly. Superman couldn’t do that. Maybe the supermen will be faster than the fictional Superman.
Maybe in the future we’ll have a science fiction program with characters that can be explained by science. There have been attempts like “The Six Million Dollar Man.” To create the supermen or the superman suit will cost much more than $6 million. But in the future, it might be possible to create supermen.
