About the attraction of smelling.

Many of us take so much for granted.

Our sight, smell, taste, hearing, ability to feel, walk and talk.

How would you feel if you lost one of those?

What if you woke up one day and could never Smell?

Close your eyes, relax and breathe in. What do you smell right now?

I bet you don’t even notice what you are smelling.

Think of your favorite thing that you like to smell

Do you have one?

Their are many that you take for granted, or may even complain about.

Think of the spring flowers all in bloom, or smelling the pine trees while hiking in the forest. Waking up to the smell of your favorite breakfast, or those delicious donuts with a cup of hot coffee. I’m sure if you love coffee, you recognize that a mile away.

If you knew someone who told you that he or she could not smell. How would you respond to that?

I cannot smell and believe it or not, the response I get is “You are Lucky “.  If I could not see or hear, do you think I would get the same comment? Maybe if you read on, you will get the bigger picture.

Try this, the next time you seek to seduce a lover. Take a deep breath through your nose. Do you find yourself lost in an intoxicating fragrance? You should if your with the right person. Scientific research continually confirms the power of smell in seduction.

Humans are biologically programmed to prefer the smell of certain potential mates over others. So if you want hot sex, your best bet may be to follow your nose.

Scent is fundamental to sexual attraction. Whats great is that smell is one of the most readily available tools we have in the mating dance.  Smells effects are immediate, instinctive, primordial and profound. In fact its Impact is so significant that it results in instant and measurable arousal. It is also the strongest of the senses impacting us more than any of the others.

Strangely enough though, people don’t give much thought to scent in seduction beyond their use of perfume or cologne.  Most don’t realize that in masking the body’s natural odors with fruity or musky sprays, they may actually be hurting their game.  This is because ones distinct personal odor is a major influence in whom we have sex with and how often.  In seeking out someone for sexual seduction, your sense of smell overrides everything, even looks.

Your nose olfactory system is strongly associated with your emotions, learning, moods, sexual response, pleasure and memory. A simple whiff can trigger a flood of feelings, thoughts, and basic drives.  It is no wonder, then that smell has a powerful impact on sexual arousal and the desire to reproduce.  Research out of the University of Texas Austin, in 2001 Found that women smell and look more attractive to men at certain times of the month.

So now that you have read this I hope you can understand how valuable your sense of smell can be.  And realize that their is more to just being able to smell the little things.  But when you are not with that special person throughout the day. What things come to mind? When you lay in bed, do you still smell his or her scent?

That is what I don’t have!

Although I will always miss this one special gift, I thank god everyday for the blessings that I do have.  I hope  if anything at all, this served a message to make you realize how special all our senses are.

Wow,this is very interesting.I’ve always known that pheromones had affects on the human animal, but I thought we were consciously unaware of it.When my son was a baby and I suddenly became a single parent,I would sneak into his room and watch him sleep and smell his head,he had his own scent that was kind of sweet. Some people think that is weird but some totally get it.I could not imagine not having the sense of smell.
