How to Kill a Spider

There it is. Furry body, beady eyes, eight legs, and it’s starring right at you. But what do you do?

We’ve all been there! And if you’re like me; you want nothing to do with it. Like, you don’t even want to be in the same building as it! So, here are just a few quick and easy ways to KILL A SPIDER.

1) Grab your trusty flyswatter – this way you don’t have to be close to it to kill it!

2) Slowly sneak up to it with a shoe and then whack it before it knows what hit him! (Be sure to use someone else’s shoe, as you don’t want the reminder of the squished spider on the bottom of your shoe to haunt you when you wear them!)

3) Scream and run into the other room and make your husband or son go take care of it.

4) Muster up the nerve to trap it under a bowl, cup, bucket, or other container and leave it there until someone else can come and dispose of it.

5) Invest in a spider-eating pet, such as a bat, monkey, wasp, scorpion, screw, bird, or a good old house cat…unless it’s like my house cat that will barely even put forth enough effort to eat the food in her bowl.
