Macdonald’s Platinum Card

The benefits, and how to get one.

Hmm… recently I was searching through the internet and found so many people wanted to know what the McDonald’s Platinum card was. So I am going to explain what the platinum card is and what benefits you get with it.

OK, Firstly the McDonald’s Platinum Card is only for employees and is sometimes given to some famous athletes. Yea, that’s right only for the employees; many people believe that you get it if you eat a lot at McDonald’s. Well guess what it doesn’t have any link with how much food you eat at McDonald’s. Ok now time for the sweet part, the benefits. The sweetest benefit is 50% discount for employees on their own meal, but the not so sweet part is that you only get 50% off your own meal only not your families. Other discounts include 10% of at stitches, 20-25% at good life gym’s, 25-30% off at Canada VIA Rail, 25% discount at Payless shoe source, 10% discount at Future Shop and 10% off HP products. That’s about everything the card offers you.

You do get a discount from Apple. There was a poster of this in my crew room. I’m trying to find out what I can get discounts on, whether its just songs and stuff from iTunes or if it includes macbooks and iPods.

I wouldn’t think they would be able to string together more than two words at a time either…Learn something every day.

So I went to the special Apple site for employees. The discount is pretty good, it’s basically no tax. For example, a 32G iPod Touch comes to $403 flat, whereas Best Buy sells them for $399 plus tax which comes to about 456(ish.)

Oh, I only went as far as the “estimated” total, didn’t see that part. Well, there’s still savings, you see it if you go to the McDonalds Apple page and then open up the actual Apple page in another browser. It’s like a 20 bucks difference.

I Work at McDonalds, and we only get 25% at payless if we are buying Safety-Step Shoes, otherwise it is only 2$$ to get discounts from Via rail, you need to Call them, your Store can give you more info on the hotels and you need to purchase you apple products from a Apple Store, as for HP, you need to go to a special website, and give a special access number provided by your Store Manager… LIKE I SAID $$2$$ DISCOUNT AT PAYLESS NOT 25%% UNLESS THEY ARE SAFTEY-STEPS(no charge for facebook Accounts)
