Look at the dots in the middle of image for a long time. Then quickly close your eyes and look at a bright light.

What can you see? Scary huh?

Now look carefully at the dice triangle image. Can you spot the connection line between the dice?

Optical Illusions

Optical Illusions are also known as visual illusions because of course, you look at them! An optical illusion  is characterized by images that are different to reality.The dice illusion near the top of this article is a great example! The dice all appear to be joined but it is not possible in reality! This may sound weird but it is true! But look at the following photos of reality:

The two photos are exactly the same but the one on the right seems to be tilted a little more! To tell the truth, optical illusions give me the creeps but I wrote this article anyway!

Another example is that if you stack two identical rhombuses on top of each other, the bottom one seems bigger than the other! That’s an optical illusion alright! Going to your local Woolworths or any other supermarket and you can see an optical illusion!
