Recently I have noticed a lot of video games seem to attract people to them. That includes someone like me. I’m attracted to games like the Silent Hill series, Dead rising, Left 4 Dead, Destroy all humans and those type of games. Why am I attracted to them? What makes me want to play them? Well I’ll tell you. For the Silent Hill series what makes me want to play those games is killing the creatures and the creepy feel I get from playing the game and the mystery behind the character you are playing as. For Dead rising it is the fact of killing zombies and the humor behind the game. Yes I love to kill zombies. For Left 4 Dead it is surviving. I like survival games. For Destroy all humans it is the fact that you can play as an alien. I am one for the UFOs and alien phenomena. Now I have noticed that the attraction with these games is the need to kill. Sure it’s fun, but does it affect your life as some would say it does?

To answer that question I look at my life since playing those type of games and the answer is no. Since I have played those games I haven’t had the urge to kill. There are some that have the urge to kill and they play these types of games and it affects their real life. Sometimes I play these games as a means to escape a troubling problem. It is not good to run from your problems. That’s a story for another day. I find that if I escape something I feel good about myself to continue to live life. What is it that makes people want to kill other people? Well that question will be answered another day. Maybe that question will never be answered. Maybe we’ll never know.

Okay now on to why people shouldn’t talk during movies. This is a BIG pet peeve I have and I’m not the only one. I’ll tell you the experience my husband and his friend had. They went to go see Wolverine and there were people there that had their babies with them. It was terrible for them. The babies were crying and the parents were not doing anything to calm the babies down. Why do people bring their children to see movies that are made for adults? That is a question I will try and answer some other time in a different blog. So anyway my husband and his friend got their movie back one for the the people in the movie and the movie was terrible they said. Now recently we had a kids movie night. This movie we had never seen before. The movie was Cars. My husband and I decided to take our little girl to see this movie and we only stayed but one hour. During that hour every one was talking. By everyone I mean kids and their parents. I had to make the excuse that my little girl was getting sleepy and it was her bedtime. I couldn’t tell the truth that we were leaving because everyone was talking. I mean I didn’t know these people very well and I had to make sure I wasn’t looked down upon where I live. After all I live in a place where I don’t want the neighbors to call me a snitch or anything like that.

That is the worst thing that could happen here, but that is a story for another day. So why do people talk during movies? Well this question I can answer.

1. They have no respect for others trying to watch the movie.
2. They think they are better then everyone cause they have already seen this movie.
3. They think that other people have seen this movie and they don’t even ask if there are other people who had even seen the movie.
4. They have children who do not respect others because they didn’t teach them to.
5. They just have NO RESPECT for others.

That is my theory on why people talk during movies. I don’t mind if they are trying to get the children to be quiet so other people can watch the movie. Those are people who RESPECT other people. I know I have had to do that with my little girl. That is a blog that I may post later on today.
