Learn how you can put your used, old and torn clothes to work in many different ways!

The clothes worn often will always go through ending process.  The threads will come out or the fabric color will fade. Other times, we simply gain weight or become skinny for which our certain clothes do not fit us anymore. But this does not mean that we need to throw them away while buying some new ones. Think like a frugal person-if you paid for them, you have the right to demand their service even when they are almost disabled! How? Let’s know it here:

1. Turn the cotton based clothes into napkins to use in your kitchen:

This is very easy. Just cut out the fabric in size of your kitchen napkins and start using it. You can actually get many pieces from it. So you really do not require buying any additional napkins from stores at all. But make sure that you wash the fabric before putting doing anything with it. We do not want bad bacteria to invade your kitchen after all.

2. Make ropes from clothes created from net:

Yes, it is possible. For this, you need a helping hand. Simply cut out the net into long string like pieces. They must equal in height. Then place them together in a parallel format.  Tell your assistant to hold one side of those strings while you keep the other side in your hand. Once the position is taken, start rolling the strings to form the rope. Remember to create a knot on both sides at the end. Use it to tie flowers or anything else you like.

3. Cut out the figures from your clothes to use in your art and craft projects:

Some clothes will always have nice images painted onto them. Others might carry a nice flower or button for creating a fashion statement. Save them so you can use them in your different art and craft projects.

4. Use the clothes as cushion for the expensive glassware you have in the box:

Glassware sometimes need a lot of cushion to stay intact. Leave your washed useless clothes around them for it. Even during a move out session, they can come as handy for other expensive items.

5. Make different clothes out them:

If you are good at sewing you should know that your certain clothes can be given completely different makeover. For instance, a long dress can be changed into a skirt and top. Meanwhile, a pair of jeans can turn into caprice or shorts.

6. Sell your clothes at Ebay:

This is possible only if your clothes are not completely damaged, but have come from a reputable brand. An auction will actually quickly make them sold out. But make sure that the pictures you take of your clothes are clean. Also if they have any kind of small damage do mention it in the listing. Usually, it is seen that a used T-shirt from a great brand name makes its seller $7 to $15.

7. Donate them to none profit organizations for tax deduction:

Yes, you can get some money from the government by giving away your clothes to charity based organizations. Check your yellow page to get their numbers.
