If you are willing to eat it, then you take the risk. As for cruelty to fish/other animals etc, what happens happens. If you have to cook something alive, then do it. So long as it tastes good after then it isn't a waste. If it was done for no reason, then feel free to complain. I haven't tried any of these foods (yet) but you can't say, "oh that's wrong" or "you can't do that its horrible". Some people would say the exact same thing about battery chicken farms, or a Big Mac. Think about that. Some mashed up cow flesh, all the gristle and what not going into your mouth. It's just as disgusting. And I'm not vegan or anything, I'd happily tuck into a burger now, but that's how its made right? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't go butting into other cultures, and pallates for that matter, saying that it's wrong. It might seem it to you, but its perfectly normal in the country next to you. Well, what can I say? If you are willing to eat it, then you take the risk.
