Although my rather inhibited dog Rocky cannot speak our language, in my mind he is not only fluent in English but is also quite intellectual. In fact, I believe he is the possessor of a sharp sarcastic wit, which I feel he has inherited from a unique circumstance in which he regularly interacts with members of our household as though he was one of us.
