Sometimes it seems like we’re walking through life in a daze. Even ordinary objects can liven things up a bit with creativity. Doors are a metaphor for chance, opportunity, and change. They are both the first and last things that a visitor sees. They can be boring or, with some work, they can be beautiful.

A parachute refers to any canopied fabric device that is strapped to a person or thing. It is generally umbrella shaped and used to slow down the descent from a high altitude. The parachute resists the movement of air past them, acting as a sort of brake. This results in a soft landing. The person feels no more shock than if he had jumped down from a three metre high wall.
