Not only were these men leaders of the United States, they were multi-talented, unique, and sometimes even downright quirky. We’ve heard a lot about their contribution to United States history. But would you have guessed the following?

1. 1st  President George Washington had horrible dental problems.

2. 27th President William H. Taft was the last President with facial hair.

3. Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President. He was the only President who served twice but not in consecutive terms. (1885-1889 and 1893-1897)

4. The 20th President James A. Garfield could write in both hands at the same time in different languages.

5. 10th President John Tyler Jr.  was a father of 15 children

6. 3rd President Thomas Jefferson loves to be on money.

7. Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th President, he also the first and only President who resigned in his office.

8. 39th President Jimmy Carter is a speed reader. He can read over 2000 words a minute.

9. William Henry Harrison was the 9th President. He was the only President to die in office after 32 days because of pneumonia.

10. 27th President William Howard Taft was the “biggest” President. He was 332 pounds and was six feet and two inches tall. 

11. 38th President Gerald Ford was one of the male model.

12. The 8th President Martin Van Buren was the first president to be born as a U.S. Citizen.

13. 16th President Abraham Lincoln and his wife actually performed scientist in the white house.

14. 26th President Theodore Roosebelt was a judo brown belter.

15. The 15th President James Buchanan was the first President who never been married. In fact, he adapted his niece as his first lady.

16. Ulysses S. Grant is the 18th President. He is a chain smoker, he smoked about 20 cigars per day.

17.  John Quincy Adams was the 6th President of the U.S., he went in the Potomac River for skinny-dipping every warm weather.

18. 14th President Franklen Peirce spent a lot of time doing his hair to make it look good. He was once a grave digger and a funeral organ player.

19. 16th President Abraham Lincoln  often wearing a tall black hat, he used his hat as a suitcase to carried letters, notes and bills. He was a part of KKK, too.

20.The only President who never attended school was the 17th President Andrew Johnson. At age 17, Eliza McCardle, taught him to write.
